11月21日讯 NBA名宿沙奎尔-奥尼尔日前曾在播客节目中表示，NBA联盟收视率下滑是因为都在投三分，是库里和那些推崇三分的家伙把这搞砸了。
前NBA球员伊曼-香波特对此并不认同，他将矛头指向了自己的前队友——勒布朗-詹姆斯，表示是詹姆斯毁了NBA比赛，因为球星们都效仿他去组队抱团。
“（那个）毁了这一切的人就是Bron（勒布朗-詹姆斯），”香波特在播客节目《The Big Podcast》中告诉奥尼尔，“因为我感觉Bron（勒布朗-詹姆斯）的立场，就像迈克（乔丹）一样，如果迈克（乔丹）这样做行得通的话，‘我要离开这支球队，去另外一支球队，因为我不喜欢球队老板所说的话’——如果迈克（乔丹）真的那么做了，那就没有忠诚可言了。”
“因为‘我们都想像迈克（乔丹）那样’，对吧？”香波特继续说道，“尽管我感觉库里很棒，（但）我感觉Bron（勒布朗-詹姆斯）是那样做的人，我觉得当他去组队抱团行得通时，这就不再让明星球员去给他们的比赛增加一些内容。”
